About Me
My name is Amanda, and I help bring stories to life. Books have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. While other girls my age begged for dolls and dresses, I pestered my parents for an endless supply of books. Thank goodness for libraries! One might say I was born with a book in my hand, and that might not be far from the truth!
I have worked as an independent editor for 6 years, and as a cover designer for 2 years. I also co-authored a book on teamwork and remote work in 2019. This has given me a view from both sides of the fence. I know how difficult it can be to hand your work over to someone else, but I also know the value of a good editor and designer.
Book editing and design are my full-time jobs.

My focus when working with you is building a relationship based on trust and cooperation. I want you to feel that your cover or book is in safe, experienced hands.
Book Editing and Proofreading
I start with a conversation about your book and what level of editing you feel it needs. I complete a free sample edit and quote and advise you on what level of editing I feel your book requires.
Cover/Logo/Promo Design
I start with a short conversation about your book/author brand. I will send a detailed questionnaire that will help me discover your needs. The answers you provide will allow me to give an accurate quote.
Formatting/Typesetting
I start with a short conversation about your book. I will need to know your printer, trim size and genre. I can show you popular chapter designs in your genre and you may provide your own research. A quote will then be given.
